Piquette

David Amling

€ 13

Grapes: Bacchus, Piwi
Country: Germany
Region: Franconia
Description

Not a Pét-Nat, but one that instantly makes you happy. This Piquette is made from grape skins (pomace) that are given a second life with water – low in alcohol, high in fun!

Bacchus and PIWI grapes provide a fresh vibe, with 5 days of maceration for some structure. It then spontaneously re-ferments in the bottle, creating a light, natural fizz. Unfiltered and undisgorged (0/0), so cloudy and delightfully lively.

With its 8.5% alcohol, this is truly one of those bottles you empty far too quickly.
