Foxy Lady

David Amling

€ 18

Grapes: Regent, Kerner
Country: Germany
Region: Franconia
Description

A "Rotling" (a blend of red and white, so to speak) of Regent and Kerner – and yes, it works surprisingly well. Foxy Lady is somewhere between rosé and light red, but above all: easy, juicy and pleasant to drink.

2 days of maceration provide a light structure and some grip, without becoming heavy. Fermented spontaneously in stainless steel and then 10 months sur lie, which gives it that little bit of roundness and depth. Naturally 0/0, so pure nature.

In short:
One of those bottles you put on the table and suddenly it's empty. Perfect (lightly) chilled, with friends or other good company.

Taste profile

Red fruit (strawberry, raspberry), a small floral touch, slightly spicy and a fresh finish. Juicy, lightly juicy and just very pleasant.
